Emily De Sousa

Hi! My name is Emily I am a 4th year student from Queen's University studying biology with a specialization in biotechnology. I am currently completing my undergraduate thesis in plant immunology genetics. I have a love for everything biology related and currently Co-Chair the Queens Biotechnology Club. I graduated highschool with my IB diploma with a focus on higher level Biology and Chemistry meaning I am very familiar with AP material. I have worked in the research industry for the past few years ranging from independent biotechnology companies to cancer genetics at one of the world's leading research hospitals. I am a young student passionate about science with first hand knowledge of current AP material and University prep. I feel my experience will connect me well with prospective students and I can offer a fresh perspective on the current biology field.
